Terms

Simple terms for Macprit.

Macprit is a website-distributed macOS utility app with a trial and a one-time licence for one Mac. These terms keep the purchase, licence key, compatibility, refunds, and support process clear.

What Macprit is

Macprit is a macOS utility app for everyday Mac controls, battery sounds, custom reactions, cleaning tools, menu bar access, and supported physical tap input.

Macprit is downloaded directly from the website as a .dmg file. These terms explain how Macprit is sold and how the licence can be used.

Trial and licence

Macprit has a trial, paywall, and licence flow so you can test compatibility before buying. A paid Macprit Pro licence is a one-time licence for one Mac.

Your licence key is shown after checkout. Keep it safe, because you may need it to activate or restore Macprit.

You must not share, publish, resell, or transfer licence keys without permission from Macprit support.

Payments

Payment is handled by Stripe. Macprit does not handle payment card details directly.

After successful checkout, Macprit creates a licence key for full access. Macprit is sold as a one-time licence, not a recurring payment.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled through the Macprit Refund Policy.

You can request help by emailing hello@avencreative.co.uk with the email used at checkout and your licence key or order details.

Compatibility

Most Macprit features work on modern Macs. Physical knock input requires a supported MacBook. Battery and lid features require MacBook hardware.

You should test compatibility during the trial before buying, especially physical knock input, battery features, lid behaviour, and anything that depends on a specific MacBook model or macOS version.

Mac models, hardware revisions, and macOS updates can affect whether some features are available or behave exactly as expected.

Acceptable use

Use Macprit in a lawful way and only with licence keys you are allowed to use.

Do not attempt to bypass licence activation, abuse restore flows, or interfere with Macprit services.

Limitations

Macprit is a utility app, not backup, security, medical, emergency, or safety-critical software.

Macprit is provided with reasonable care, but no software can be promised to work perfectly on every Mac, every macOS update, or every hardware revision. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Macprit is not responsible for indirect loss, lost profits, lost data, or problems caused by misuse, unsupported hardware, or ignored setup instructions.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Updates

Macprit may receive updates that improve features, fix issues, or adjust compatibility with macOS changes.

Some features may behave differently across Mac models, macOS versions, and hardware revisions.

Support

For help with Macprit, your licence key, download, refund request, or compatibility, email hello@avencreative.co.uk.

Privacy requests are handled through the Macprit Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

Macprit may update these terms when the product, support process, or legal requirements change.

The latest version will be available on macprit.com.
